Hugh Clover MA(Ed), MABCH, MCAHyp, MNCH, UKCHO, Master NLP Practitioner, Thought Field Therapy Practitioner |
Hugh Clover has been practicing hypnotherapy for nearly 20 years now. He is also a Master NLP practitioner having trained with the founder of NLP Richard Bandler as well as Paul McKenna. Hugh is also qualified in Thought Field Therapy (TFT). Hugh's interest in hypnosis was kindled when he met a hypnotist as a journalist, and was fascinated by what that hypnotist was able to show him.
Hugh moved on from journalism into social work and later special education before devoting himself full time to his passion of hypnotherapy. Hugh's 15 year career in education saw him work with severe and moderate learning difficulties, challenging behaviour and autism. During this time Hugh gained his masters degree in education at the University of East Anglia. Hugh strongly believes that his wide range of professional experience has given him a deep awareness of life and its inevitable pressures, and that this has proved an excellent prerequisite for practising hypnotherapy. He says "Hypnosis and NLP techniques are wonderful tools for fast, effective, lasting and life enhancing change. Hypnotherapy works at the level of the powerful subconscious mind, the root of all our emotions, memories, habits and imagination. This gives it a great advantage over therapies that work at the level of the far weaker conscious mind." Hugh qualified through the Atkinson-Ball College of Hypnotherapy and HypnoHealing (MABCH) and from there graduated to the Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapy (CAH). This is an elite group of hypnotherapists nationwide who have undergone intensive training. The Corporation has its own Code of Ethics and is dedicated to the highest standards in the practise of hypnotherapy. Hugh ia also member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), and registered with the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy (UKCHO) Hugh adds "Clients so often are very surprised at how much better they can feel in just a short amount of time. Hypnotherapy is not often long term. It simply does not need to be."
